RUDOLF STEINER SCHOOL TRUST (MANAWATU)/ MATARIKI KINDERGARTEN
CODE OF ETHICS
The healthy social life is found when in the mirror of each human being the whole community
finds its reflection; and when in the community the virtue of each one is living.
Rudolf Steiner
Principles
-
We recognise that each person is a whole being, with inherent integrity and dignity. We aim, through all our human
interactions, to enhance the integrity and dignity of each person.
-
All persons are of equal and special importance, and we aim to treat all fairly and justly.
-
We aim to provide good governance, following principles of strong leadership, transparency and accountability.
-
To maintain confidentiality and respect privacy.
Within this framework the following are expected:
-
Central to participation in the community, as parents, teachers, trustees or committee members, is the commitment
to nurturing, honouring and protecting the wonder of childhood.
-
That we are open to listening to all viewpoints, and should respect and uphold others' integrity.
-
That we are loyal to our community in order to safeguard the special character of the education, and to maintain
its continuity and growth.
-
Demonstration of respect for each other requires empathy and understanding each other's journey.
